NEMA goes global on LEDs
The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA),Now, we all know that a typical diode can output a very limited amount of light, so how does our Phillips led bulb work? Rosslyn, Va., has joined other key lighting organization in the Global Lighting Forum (GLF), an initiative to coordinate and promote LED (light emitting diode) technology on a global level.The task light should reach two-thirds of the counter. According to GLF Chairman Jan Denneman, “LEDs will play a dominant role in nearly every lighting application. The world will witness a revolution in lighting that will help reduce energy consumption while enabling the development of new lighting experiences.”
GLF is an international forum of industry organizations representing more than 5,000 lighting manufacturers and $50 billion annual sales.Indirect lighting offers an interesting and eye catching form Led lamp light of light from concealed source. Strip light is an example of indirect lighting that is often installed on top of cabinets. This adds to the general lighting of the room.Countertops are areas where food preparation is often done. These are often illuminated with shallow LED bulb fluorescent fixtures that are attached to the cabinet's underside.
