Tailback Johnny Greacen added 77 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries for the Lakers, now 10-0 and playing Section IV champion Chenango Valley in the Central Region final next Saturday.

Oneida’s season ended at 6-4, but not without a fight.

The Indians erased a 7-0 deficit early in the second quarter when sophomore tailback Matt Barlow bolted 35 yards for a touchdown. Oneida faked the point-after kick, and when holder Mosack’s run to the goal line ended with a fumble, teammate Travis Morrison’s end zone recovery gave the Indians an 8-7 lead with 11:10 left in the second quarter., to coordinate with your work area or home office space. Barlow, whose emergence had led Oneida to its two playoff wins, did break one long run, but was limited to 89 yards on 20 carries. Mosack added 54 yards on 13 carries, but was 4 of 13 passing for 53 yards.

“We needed to keep the ball out of Oneida’s hands as much as possible,” Cazenovia coach Tom Neidl said. “We did give up the one big play, but we didn’t give up the killer.”
