Empty kayak search called off
A police search sparked by the discovery of an empty kayak in Melbourne's Port Phillip Bay has been called off because the boat was stolen.
Fishermen spotted the one-person kayak at 8:30am (AEDT) on Sunday near Carrum, and police were worried that someone might have fallen out.,schedule 40 pvc pipe They turn on automatically when motion is detected and stay lit for a certain amount of time. Sergeant Andrew Lilly earlier said a light on the kayak had led them to believe it had not just come adrift.
"The recreational fishermen that located the vessel said that on board when they got to the kayak was a light,,water walking ball The great thing about LED bulbs is that they are just solid light so there is nothing that can potentially fail except for it running out after constant use for years, an LED torch-type light, and there was a dim light still going when they arrived," he said.
